I work very hard to keep my career diversified, working on just-the-right mix of fashion shows, celebrities, actresses, red carpets, and music videos. I love it all, but I really enjoy doing music videos. I was so excited that Pink asked me to be her makeup artist for the video for her new single, "Feel Good Time," on the soundtrack of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. It's always fun to work with her, because when she and director Dave Meyers get together it's a wild ride!

Pink surrounds herself with a great crew of people. My good friend Alberto Guzman-who has been doing her hair since she changed its color from pink to blonde to black-gave her a mohawk for the video. To match her cool 'do, Pink's new clothing stylists Kurt and Bart came up with the most incredibly customized looks that were perfect for her tough and sexy personality. A music video for a song from a movie always has scenes from the movie cut into it, so we needed to come up with a look that suited both the song and the flick.

In addition to styling Pink, Alberto Guzman just opened a salon in his hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, called Bamboo.

Pink and Billy - or, should I say, beauty and the beast.

In the action-packed video, Pink becomes the fourth Angel. She's on a mission, which includes a land mine scene with real explosions that were shot on the beach in Malibu with Pink in disguise. Alberto cut a human-hair wig into the fiercest mullet that she donned in a scene in which a villain snatches it off her head and then takes a big sniff. Then, of course, in true Pink fashion, she proceeds to kick his butt. The next day of shooting was on location at a coal-manufacturing facility in Long Beach where some of the movie was shot.

I thought the sand from the beach was difficult to work in, but I hadn't seen anything yet! With all the black soot in the air from the coal plant, I had to do Pink's makeup four times. Ironically, I did a black smoky eye. It was a sexy, extended eye, using MAC Carbon eye shadow and a silvery white sheen powder on the lids, near the bridge of her nose, and high on her cheek bones to create a super-slick, shiny look. Catch the video, and let me know what you think. Also, check me out this month on VH1's "Driven" with episodes featuring Pink, Beyoncé and Missy Elliott.
